gaules Biography

Gaules was born on December 2nd, 1983 in São Paulo. Gaules is a retired counter-striker player and coach who started streaming in December 2017, after being bankrupt and have attempted suicide.

He usually streams some big tournaments with the participation of Brazilian teams, like the CS:GO Majors, and even streamed from the venue during Blat Pro Series and Dreamhack events. Gaules plays every month at the Gamersclub Amateur League with his old counter-strike organization name, G3X.

Alexandre likes to reciprocate the support he receives from viewers, so he usually gives away some CS:GO skins donates a lot of the money he earns to charity and always talks about his problems with depression, and also tries to help those who suffer from the same disease. In addition to Counter-Strike, he also streams GTA V RPG.

When he was 14, Gaules started going every day to a local “lan-house”, asking to join the best Counter-Strike team from there, because they played for free and he didn’t have any money to his name. After a long time, he managed to join the team in question, but later the team disbanded and he created his own organization in 2001 – the “G3neration X”.

His team played a lot of big tournaments in Brazil and also some in Europe and the United States, but in 2007, they merged with the biggest Counter-Strike team in Brazil (MiBR), and Gaules had to retire, becoming the manager and the coach of the team. One year later, while studying to get a Marketing degree, he did an internship at Samsung and later quit the competitive scene to start his own production company, the “Seleção Brasileira de Games” (Brazilian Team of Games). With this success, he also created the “Brazil Gaming League”, “Agência x5” and “Mega Arena x5”.

However, in 2017 his companies began to fail and he decided to move away and sell them. Because of bad investments, Gaules found himself bankrupt, without a place to live, diagnosed with deep depression, and even attempted suicide. Trying to recover, Gaules asked his friends for help so he can at least have something to eat and began to stream until he had the means to support himself. The stream did not become an immediate success, but he never gave up and as of today has one of the most-watched Counter-Strike channels on Twitch. Luckily for Gaules, he is not alone anymore in his endeavors his girlfriend Letícia “Lett” Pereira is also a Twitch streamer!
