Polsat Games – Polish television station of Telewizja Polsat dedicated mainly to video games, e-sport and anime, launched test 1 October 2018 in the form of an Internet channel ( IPTV ), and officially 15 October 2018 about h. 9:30 in the form of a television channel.
The idea to launch this channel appeared on May 9, 2018, when Telewizja Polsat announced the submission of an application to KRRiT for a license for Polsat Games, which received it on June 22 for a period of 10 years. On September 6, the broadcaster announced that the channel would start broadcasting on October 1, but in the form of an Internet channel ( IPTV ), while on October 9 Cyfrowy Polsat announced that the full television version of the station would start on October 15.
