KingGothalion Biography

Cory Michael, better known as King Gothalion, is a partnered streamer on Facebook. He is based in Land O’ Lakes, Florida outside of Tampa.

Before Michael was a streamer full-time, he and his wife Samantha both worked at Applebee’s where Michael was a server and manager while Samantha went to nursing school and waited tables at night. Michael’s friend encouraged him to start streaming and although they were already stretched thin on time, Samantha gave Michael her approval to do so.

Michael started streaming his gaming sessions as a hobby in 2013. It was when the game Destiny came out that Michael really started to gain a following and became a partnered streamer on Michael typically streams about six to nine hours a day and builds his channel around his commentary, humor, and values.

On January 13, 2018, he set up a channel on Mixer, and transition to streaming there full time in October 2019, after signing a contract with Microsoft. Finally, in June 2020 with Mixer closing down – he announced his move to Facebook Gaming as a partnered streamer.
