Clix Biography

Cody “Clix” Conrod is a professional Fortnite player for Misfits Gaming.

The Clix channel was created on November 11th, 2017.

Born and raised in CT ( Connecticut ) and one of the youngest professional Fortnite players + streamers who’s been hired under an organization. Game play, YouTube videos, and Streams have been one of the biggest forms of content he’s provided throughout the years; accumulating over 133,179 followers on Twitch, and over 124,019 subscribers on YouTube.

Clix was introduced to video games by his older brother, with his first game being Minecraft. When his brother was thirteen, he got his own gaming PC and Clix would often sneak into his room in order to play Call of Duty: Zombies.

However, although he continued maining Minecraft as he was growing up, he dreamed of becoming a pro-player and realized that it wouldn’t be possible with Minecraft. However, he did see the potential of Fortnite as an esport when it released, and so he decided to dedicate himself to grinding the ladder on working on his skills in the hopes of making it as a pro-Fortnite player one day. So, he approached his father and begged him to buy him a gaming PC so that he could try to win tournaments. He promised his father that he would pay him back. His father reluctantly agreed, but on condition that he sign a contract promising repayment and to do odd jobs for him to work off some of the debt. 2½ weeks later, he managed to prove himself by winning $1,030 USD in an online tournament.

Before becoming serious about Fortnite, he used to play basketball and compete in track.
